Its nice to have this plant in my garden but I want to know how to protect it from pests?

Never had pests. It is one of the plants that do not occur.Instead is quite fragile.The shoots break quite easily.

If it is so much fragile, should it be kept in pots instead of hanging baskets ?

I don't know if it's a good idea. And even if it breaks easily regenerate anyway.
