Another Kordes creation is this shrub called Apache. It was introduced in Germany in 2009. Its simple red flowers (4 - 8 petals) have no perfume at all.

A flower without a fragrance looks a bit empty, but still it gives colour to the place where it is planted.

You are right. I am not so crazy about roses without perfume. Apache is meant to cover the soil and give it colour.
